How Curatrix Technologies collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us through this website.

Last updated and approved June 2026 by the Director of ICT and Compliance, Curatrix Technologies Limited. This notice explains how personal data is handled for the Curatrix Technologies website.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Curatrix Technologies Limited (Company No. 09889757, VAT No. GB 231 8719 07), part of the Curatrix Holdings group, registered at Portsmouth Technopole, Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth, PO2 8FA, United Kingdom. For the personal data collected through this website, Curatrix Technologies Limited is the data controller.

If you have any questions about this notice or how we use your personal information, contact our data protection contact:

We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration ZB999071.

2. The information we collect

We only collect the information we need to respond to you and to run this website securely:

  • Enquiry details — when you complete our contact form, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, the area you're interested in, and the content of your message.
  • Technical and usage data — when you visit the site, our analytics and our web server automatically receive limited technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you reached the site.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data through this website, and the site is not directed at children.

3. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data (including a truncated/anonymised IP address and an identifier for your browser) on our behalf. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use this data to identify you personally.

When you first visit, our cookie banner asks whether you're happy to allow analytics cookies. We use Google Consent Mode, so until you choose "Accept analytics" no analytics cookies are stored; choosing "Essential only" leaves them switched off. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies and storage in your browser, and you can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on.

4. How we use your information and our lawful bases

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Responding to enquiries — to reply to you and, where relevant, to provide the services you ask about. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • Analytics — to measure and improve the performance of our website. Lawful basis: consent where required, or our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the site.
  • Security and legal obligations — to keep our systems secure and to comply with our legal and regulatory duties. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the personal data collected through this website with any third party for their own purposes. It is stored and processed on our behalf, under contract, by trusted service providers who act only on our instructions — namely a customer relationship management (CRM) provider, which holds the enquiries submitted through our contact form, an analytics provider, and our hosting and IT providers.

Where we deliver services to our customers, the protection of personal data and any sharing with relevant third parties is governed by the contract in place with each customer, separately from this website.

We may also disclose information where required to comply with the law, a court order, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers (for example Google) may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data-protection law — such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses — to make sure your information remains protected.

7. How we protect your information

Information security is at the heart of what we do. We operate an information security management system aligned to and certified against ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and we hold Cyber Essentials Plus and a CSA STAR Level 1 registration. In practice this means we apply controls such as encryption in transit, strict access control, monitoring, secure development practices and supplier due diligence to protect the data we hold, and we keep these controls under continual review.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised in line with our retention schedule. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics (by default, up to 14 months) and then automatically deleted.

9. Your rights

Subject to certain conditions, you have the right to: be informed about how we use your data; access a copy of it; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to its processing; data portability; and, where we rely on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month.

10. Complaints

We'd like the chance to resolve any concern first, so please contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
